01 Summary
SavorFit is built to respect your privacy. We do not collect your personal data, we do not use analytics, we do not show advertising, and we do not share or sell any information to third parties. Your data stays on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your personal iCloud account that only you control.
02 Information we collect
We do not collect any personal information.
All data you enter into SavorFit — including your profile (age, height, weight, gender, activity level), body measurements, food entries, macros, diary notes, custom foods, and recipes — is stored locally on your device. We, as the developer, have no access to this data and never receive it.
We do not collect:
- Names, email addresses, or contact information.
- Location data.
- Device identifiers for tracking.
- Usage analytics or behavioral data.
- Health data shared with us or any server we control.
03 iCloud synchronization
SavorFit can synchronize your data across your Apple devices (for example, iPhone and iPad) using Apple’s iCloud service through CloudKit.
When synchronization is available:
- Your data is stored in your personal iCloud account, in a private database tied to your Apple ID.
- The data is end-to-end encrypted between your devices and iCloud.
- The developer (Maryna Demirel) has no access to this data. We cannot read, retrieve, or recover it.
- Synchronization is handled entirely by Apple’s infrastructure. Apple’s handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
If you are not signed in to iCloud, or iCloud Drive is disabled for SavorFit, the app works fully on your device without synchronization.
04 Subscriptions and payments
SavorFit offers an auto-renewable subscription, SavorFit Premium, which unlocks the ability to add new entries and use premium features. A 7-day free trial is available to eligible new subscribers, after which the subscription renews yearly unless cancelled.
All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive, see, or store your payment details, credit card information, or Apple ID. Subscription management, billing, and renewals are handled entirely by Apple under Apple’s terms. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings.
05 How your data is used
Your data is used solely to provide the app’s functionality on your device: tracking calories and macros, recording body measurements, keeping a personal diary, and displaying your statistics and progress over time. None of this processing involves sending your data to us or any third party.
07 Data retention and deletion
Because your data is stored on your device (and optionally in your personal iCloud), you are in full control of it:
- To delete data within the app, remove individual entries or use the app’s controls.
- To delete all local data, delete the app from your device.
- To delete data stored in iCloud, you can manage SavorFit’s iCloud storage in your iOS Settings under your Apple ID → iCloud.
08 Children’s privacy
SavorFit is intended for adults and is rated 17+. It is not directed at children. The app contains content related to weight management and calorie tracking that is not appropriate for minors. We do not knowingly collect information from children (and, as stated, we do not collect personal information from anyone).
09 Health and medical disclaimer
SavorFit is a self-tracking tool for informational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The calorie goals, BMI calculations, and educational articles are estimates based on widely accepted formulas and are not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare provider, dietitian, or trainer. Always consult a professional before making significant changes to your diet or exercise routine.
10 Security
Your data is protected by your device’s built-in security (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID) and, when using iCloud, by Apple’s end-to-end encryption. Since we never receive your data, there is no server-side database that could be breached on our end.
11 Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be reflected in an app update. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
